Elvis Presley Owned and Worn Cufflinks & Tie Tack I obtained these cufflinks and tie tack as part of a large collection of Elvis Presley memorabilia from Claude Thompson, who worked with Elvis on many occasions. I am a huge collector of celebrity memorabilia and am unfortunately being forced to sell, so I will have most of my collection listed here on Ebay in the coming weeks. These particular items are gold and have a multi colored stone set in the center. I'm not sure of the type of stone, however they are amazing! They change color depending on the way the light hits them and vary from yellow to green to red. They are in excellent condition, however they are slightly tarnished on the gold parts. I haven't tried to clean them as I wanted to keep them in the original condition, but if you polish them you may be able to get them looking brand new again. The box the set is shown in is not the original box, which I do not have. The cufflinks and tie tack each come with a COA from Claude Thompson stating they were given to him as a gift from Elvis in 1968, and that they were a part of Elvis' personal collection and Elvis had worn them on many occasions (you will receive a seperate COA for each item - 2 total). Claude Thompson had the cufflinks and tie tack from 1968 until 2006, which is when I purchased several pieces from his collection. They have been in my possession ever since then and I have kept them in a smoke and pet free household and have not worn them. They have been stored, along with the COA, in a safe and have rarely been touched since I acquired them. The COA is in excellent condition. It has been folded, but other than that it is perfect. I start all of my auctions at $0.99 with no reserve! This is an excellent chance to get an amazing AUTHENTIC piece of Elvis memorabilia at a bargain basement price!
